The Hunter's Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been called in to help search for a missing elderly man near Stroud overnight.
Police were called in to search for the 78-year-old who'd gone missing from his property at Booral and fears were raised when his car was found abandoned yesterday morning.
A neighbour found him on an adjoining property overnight suffering mild dehydration.
Meanwhile, the chopper has been called out to a bulk carrier off the coast of Newcastle this morning to airlift a crewman suffering a medical condition to the John Hunter Hospital.
